微软公布2011财年第三季度财报：XBOX360出货270万，总出货量达到5350万

Microsoft has just announced its quarterly earnings results. Company wide, Microsoft revenues were  $16.43b in the March 2011 quarter up 13% from the previous March quarter. Profits reached $5.23b over the same time frame, up 31% from the March 2010 quarter. In the Entertainment & Devices Division of Microsoft which includes the Xbox brand, the company had revenues of $1.935b and a profit of $225m. Profit increased by $75m in the Entertainment division from the previous March quarter, with revenue up from $1.210b. Microsoft's Entertainment division, which includes Zune and other devices besides the X360, has generated revenues of $7.428b over the first nine months of Microsoft's fiscal year and profits of $790m in that time frame.

As of December 2010, Microsoft had shipped 50.8m X360s. With an additional 2.7m devices shipped in the March 2011 quarter, a record for a March quarter for Microsoft, total X360 shipemts reached 53.5m through March 2011. Of that total, 13.3m systems were shipped in the last year, an all time record for Microsoft since entering the video game business. Microsoft does not provide software shipment figures, but the company did say that Kinect shipments reached 2.4m units in the March 2011 quarter (see slide 13). Given that Microsoft had shipped 8m Kinects through the end of 2010, and 10m by early March, it looks like Kinect shipped 400,000 units over the last four weeks of March.

5. 2011财年第三季度，KINECT共出货240万套（含主机同捆）。微软曾宣布截至2011年3月初，KINECT全球出货达到1000万套，大致可以认为KINECT在3月的4周之内出货达到40万套（含主机同捆）；
6. 微软娱乐设备部（包含XBOX360，XBOX LIVE, KINECT)取得60%的增长率。

截至到2011年3月：

1. WII全球出货量达到8601万，依然高高在上 (不过本季度WII只完成出货136万台，几乎只有XBOX360的一半）；
2. PS3全球出货量达到5000万，仅以微弱劣势落后XBOX360。

在此祝贺三大主机的取得成绩，历史上第一次所有主机迈过5000万大关，本世代没有失败者。
