Rayman Origins, which was released late last year for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, captured the interest of several IGN editors with its quirky style and old school platforming. Now owners of Nintendo's newest handheld can share in Ubisoft's kooky creation, as the 3DS version of Rayman Origins finally has an official North American release date.

The game is slated to hit store shelves on February 20, heading to Europe a few days earlier on February 16. But if you can't wait that long to get your hands on the portable, 3D version of this title, satiate your Rayman hunger by taking a look at the newly released video below, which goes behind the scenes of the game's development.
