Beefjack‘s reporting that the game’s publisher Atlas doesn’t have any plans to bring the game westbound in the foreseeable future.

“Catherine is a Japan-only game and there are no plans for a NA release at this time. Sorry about that,” a rep told the site.

Catherine only launched in Japan for PS3 and 360 last week, and has gotten off to a sales stormer in the country, even outselling Marvel vs Capcom 3.

The title is Team Persona’s first title on next-gen hardware. It’s assumed its next title will be the long-awaited Persona 5.

虽然《凯瑟琳》已经在日本取得了成功，不过它的发行商ATLUS目前还没有把此作品登上欧美舞台的计划。

“《凯瑟琳》是一款仅对应日本地区的游戏，而且我们目前也没有将此作欧美发行的计划，很抱歉。”一个ATLUS内部人员称。

《凯瑟琳》上周刚刚在日本地区发售，对应平台为PS3和X360，而且销量让ATLUS很满意，甚至超过了CAPCOM的格斗大作MVC3。

这是PERSONA小组在次世代的第一款作品，而他们下一个开发作品会是万众期待的《PERSONA 5》吗？
